The bench seat has been replaced and is stained pine. The arms and the arm supports are more than likely later additions or replacements. The carved panel back has a split through the lower coat of arms and has a small patch repair to the upper right pillar. There is a hole just below the hunting scene, although it is most likely to be a knot which has come out of the timber. Rear left leg shows signs of old woodworm damage and the lower most stretcher is coming away from the upright slightly on the front right leg. There is a very small chip to the top rail.
