Lot 11 of 1181: A late 18th/early 19th century mahogany chest of four drawers with brass swing handles, raised on bracket supports, approx 78 x 90 x 47cm. Provenance: From the descendants of Andrew Barclay Walker (of Walker Gallery Liverpool), this item has been passed down the generations and is suggested from the family that this is originally from the Andrew Barclay Walker estate.

Description:

A late 18th/early 19th century mahogany chest of four drawers with brass swing handles, raised on bracket supports, approx 78 x 90 x 47cm. Provenance: From the descendants of Andrew Barclay Walker (of Walker Gallery Liverpool), this item has been passed down the generations and is suggested from the family that this is originally from the Andrew Barclay Walker estate.

Condition Report:
The veneer is lifting to right side crossbanding. Further surface wear to the top, including scuffs, scrapes, fading, staining, etc. Minor losses and scuffs to the drawer fronts. Additional light wear to the bracket feet.
