Description:

A George II mahogany fold-over tea table, early 18th century, the top with rounded outset corners, over single drawer, raised on four cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaves to the knees, terminating in paw feet (three fixed, one gateleg), when extended 71 x 83 x 82cm.

Condition Report:
A good looking example, it has had repairs over the years. Mostly old repairs done sympathetically but in an honest way. Possible replacement hinges, with a gap between leaves. The gateleg has a crude metal plate assisting a repair. There are some old splits and small missing sections to the top, otherwise acceptable. Good patina, looks nice, good honest piece. Viewing is recommended.
