Lot 766 of 1054: A German WWII Army dress dagger, the 10'' unmarked blade mounted with a butterscotch amber-coloured wound grip, with scabbard, overall length 40cm. Footnote: The vendor's father was stationed in North East Germany at the end of the war, in the vicinity of Hermann Göring's hunting estate, which was in the Schorfheide Forest in the North of Brandenburg. He returned from his posting there with this dagger and it has remained in the family ever since.
