Lot 14 of 875: A 19th century mahogany break-front chiffonier bookcase, the top comprising a pair of glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves and flanked by simple carved detail above a base of one long drawer and two panelled doors, raised on plinth base, approx 200 x 104 x 41cm.

Description:

A 19th century mahogany break-front chiffonier bookcase, the top comprising a pair of glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves and flanked by simple carved detail above a base of one long drawer and two panelled doors, raised on plinth base, approx 200 x 104 x 41cm.

Condition Report:
Overall solid but used condition, the internal shelves are scratched and stained. There is light surface wear to the break front with a small area of slightly deeper scratches to the left hand side. The base section has scuff marks from the doors on the plinth base and further wear to the corners of the plinth and the corners of the upright section of the base cabinet, all commensurate with age and use.
