Lot 379 of 1098: MARTIN & CO; an ON-16GT gloss top acoustic guitar, with original label, in fitted box with brass label to the front (2). Provenance: from the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. The band played with Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Manfred Man and many others.

Description:

MARTIN & CO; an ON-16GT gloss top acoustic guitar, with original label, in fitted box with brass label to the front (2). Provenance: from the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. The band played with Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Manfred Man and many others.

Condition Report:
There are a few light scratches over the faux tortoiseshell finger board throug playing, a small knock to the edge and a few other small scratches to the body below where the strings terminate. A few other light scuffs and marks here and there but essentially overall appearance is ok. The case includes a guarantee numbered 1095213.
