A 17th century carved oak Wainscot armchair, the shaped and carved top rail above two carved back panels of traditional patterns, having a panel seat with scrolled elbow supports, raised on turned block legs united by stretchers.

Condition Report:
This was found in a Lancashire barn, it is sturdy but has wear and deterioration to the joints and various parts of the frame, there are areas of repair noticeably a 100+ yrs old steel plate to the back of the upright, on of front feet is shorter through wear than the other, etc. Height 108cm, width 56cm, depth 50cm.
